A unique model of the very recognizable and still running tank: PzKpfw VI Tiger with number 131. The famous Tiger was captured by the British in Africa during World War II and is now the biggest attraction of The Tank Museum! The block Tiger 131 was reproduced with attention to detail in a 1:28 scale. It has movable elements such as a turret and gun barrel, as well as rotating wheels and tracks. The refined set consists of 1,275 elements and faithfully reflects the original shapes of its historical inspiration. Our powerful block tank is covered with high-quality prints that do not wear off. Particularly noteworthy is the new color scheme, close to the original, which makes the model look dazzling! The design of the tank has also changed. It is even better and more accurate. We used a completely new drive wheel here. The structure of the turret is also completely different and refers in detail to the original, skillfully imitating the elements of the interior in blocks. The set includes a mini-model of the Maybach engine, which can be displayed next to the model or placed in the tank under the service hatch. The model has movable wheels and tracks consisting of many links. If you want you can drive the tank and watch the tracks work! The included tank ammunition can be placed inside the vehicle, as well. The hatches open and underneath there is room for standard COBI figures. The whole set is complemented by a white plate with the name of the tank and The Tank Museum logo printed on it! Build history, piece by piece, and complete your collection, with COBI! Panzerkampfwagen VI, or Tiger, was a German heavy tank from World War II. Its characteristic shape is still recognizable all over the world. The vehicle itself has become a legend and is still present not only in historical materials, but also in pop culture. The first Tiger units were delivered to the front near Leningrad and Tunisia in August/September 1942. The tank designed and manufactured by Henschel was very modern and effective. Unfortunately, its production consumed huge resources of valuable raw materials and time. The Tiger I and a few Tiger II tanks had a significant impact on the course of hostilities. The infamous and feared Tigers destroyed over 10,300 Allied tanks and 11,380 guns with their own losses of 1,725.
