COBI Historical Collection 1942 Ambulance WC 54
COBI Historical Collection 1942 Ambulance WC 54
The WC 54 is a light truck developed during World War II. It was produced between 1942 and 1945 and often served as a U.S. Army military ambulance. The vehicles remained in service during the Korean War despite the appearance of a successor in the form of WC 64. The WC 54 continued to be in service in several European countries well into the 1960's. From a set of 293 COBI building blocks, you can build a classic American WC 54 military ambulance in 1:35 scale. This will undoubtedly be one of the most successful kits released in 2021 by COBI. All graphics on this vehicle are pad-printed onto the blocks. There are no stickers with this set! The design of the vehicle in a unique way reflects the original shapes of its historical prototype. The model continues a series of vintage vehicles that were created using specially designed elements. In the set you will find unique multi-piece fenders, a block imitating a radiator, windshield with printed wipers and many other exclusive pieces. The vehicle is simple to build and easy to modify. The set includes a figure of a paramedic with a new print on the helmet. The equipment also includes newly designed stretchers, which are now better suited for other military sets. The set is accompanied by a brick with the vehicle name printed on it for display.
